Yeah - this thing just looks dead.
There will be a GUT pool this year - dusting off the scripts now…

The Ball Is Up…

GUT Pool 2008

ok - looks like I’ve found most of the things to turn back on, so the GUT pool should now be up and running.

And for goodness sakes, don’t pick Duke…

Camping At Buffalo Creek

After their return from Oregon, the photo gremlins took off the next weekend for a little sleeping outside in the nearby mountains. We went to the Buffalo Campground down the hill a little from Pine Junction. Much warmer and drier than our last trip and very pretty. Of course with all that scenery around we mostly just took pictures of the kids.

STOMP rocket Camping Stories

But for reals - very nice area. There was a creek for wading, trails for hiking, biking and dog frolicking. It was right next to some big burn areas that also made for interesting hiking/viewing. But with all the kids/packs/snacks/dogs/etc… lugging the camera out didn’t seem to get done. Next time.

Sunriver Photos

The photo gremlins have finally gotten off their collective duff and there are now pictures from August up.
Had a week vacation out in Sunriver, OR with The Family Curtis. Years of going to the Solstice tournament in Eugene had not informed us that Central Oregon turns out to be much different that the Portland-Eugene corridor. Very pretty what with all the volcanoes and all.

Lava Fields Girls on lava

Plus the girls got to see their cousins and other quality family time.

Ella and Gram Ella and Morgan

Nathan and I even got in a little golf - although we got no drinks bought us by the woman we played with who aced the par 3 3rd hole…

Are you ready for some football

So the other night we held the annual neighborhood fantasy league draft over at Mark’s house.

In between all the wii-tennis distractions we did manage to pick some teams and lo and behold they started playing tonight.
Full list of picks here for all your fantasy-fantasy league needs.

My 2006-07 Championship night out is (per-tradition) still pending.

Camping

Went camping last weekend. Found a nice place a few miles up a dirt road just off of 285. A little bit of hiking, a little bit of camp sitting, and a little bit of rain. OK, maybe more than a little rain, but it was not-raining more than it was. Those people in the site next to us that packed up during the downpour on Saturday were suckers - especially because the sun came out before they had finished loading their SUV…

Guess which pictures are from the rainy weekend

The kids in the rain

and which are from slacker camping in the nice a few months ago…

Hooray! Pictures

Hooray

Reunion was this last weekend and in a new landspeed record, I’ve gotten all caught up on the pictures. And judging from those pictures, apparently everyone in our class is now 3.

Sandbox Facepainting Dance Dance
Which is probably good, because otherwise the whole thing would have been very very tiring.
